Project Based Vouchers

Thank you for your interest in residing within one of our local housing communities! Whether you are interested in a single occupancy, two, three, or four-bedroom unit, our manicured properties can meet your needs.

We are currently accepting online applications for the Project-Based Voucher (PBV) waitlists for the below-listed properties.

The Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Program offers rental housing options at specific housing locations. Assistance is attached to particular rental units, meaning if you live in a rental unit under the PBV Program and move, the assistance stays with the unit.

Paper applications are unavailable, and the office will not receive fax requests. Please contact our office at 334-794-6713 if a reasonable accommodation is needed.

Computer lab access is available for use by interested applicants inside the new home of Dothan Housing’s administrative office, OCHEC (Our Community Housing and Enrichment Center).

Dothan Housing provides affordable multifamily housing, housing for the elderly and disabled in the city of Dothan and its surrounding counties Henry, Dale, Coffee, and Geneva. Dothan Housing provides and manages Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher Program formerly known as the Section 8 Program, and manages market-rate rental apartments.
