The Dothan Housing Board of Commissioners serves as a governing body of Dothan Housing. Seven members are appointed by the Mayor of Dothan.
The Commission meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am at the Our Community Inc. board room located at 1001 Montana Street Dothan, AL 36301.
Dothan Housing provides affordable multifamily housing, housing for the elderly and disabled in the city of Dothan and its surrounding counties Henry, Dale, Coffee, and Geneva. Dothan Housing provides and manages Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher Program formerly known as the Section 8 Program, and manages market-rate rental apartments.
