Dr. Tamara Berry-Andrews Selected for NAHRO DEI Advisory Committee
Dothan Housing’s (DH’s) Chief Housing Officer (COO), Dr. Tamara Berry-Andrews, has been selected to serve on the Diversity Equity Inclusion Advisory Committee for the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO). She will represent her region (SERC) during the administration of NAHRO President-Elect George Guy. As a housing veteran of over 15 years, Dr. Berry-Andrews is elated to help propel the affordable housing industry forward and serve the nation in this capacity.

As an agency, DH has made several strides to incorporate DEIB into its workplace culture as well as implore strategies for the workforce. Year-round, the local authority has DEIB town halls to address social topics and lifestyles to assist in serving the Wiregrass Metropolitan Area (WMA).
