Dothan Ala.—According to the White House’s release entitled “FACT SHEET: President Biden’s Budget Lowers Housing Costs and Expands Access to Affordable Rent and Home Ownership,” America faces a longstanding and nationwide shortfall in affordable housing that has been growing for decades.
Housing professionals are encouraged to build relationships with local and federal leaders and provide understanding and realistic insight into the affordable housing industry. Housing, a historically bipartisan issue, demands neighborly approaches and innovative thought to address the extreme shortages being experienced.
