REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

Dothan Housing Authority will be accepting applications from qualified Certified Public Accounting firms and/or Accountants to conduct the annual audit of Housing Authority operations for the period January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2023.  The audit must be performed in compliance with the Single Audit Act and comply with all applicable federal and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations concerning an audit of a Public Housing Authority.  The solicitation will open on Thursday, February 16, 2023, and applications are due Monday, March 20, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.  Paper application packets will be available at the office of the DHA, 602 S. Lena St., Dothan, Alabama, 36302, beginning Thursday, February 16, 2023. DHA offices are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST. Any and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing. Proposers can direct questions to Katherine Foster, Business Services Coordinator, Dothan Housing Authority, 602 S. Lena St., Dothan, Alabama, 36302, or by email at [email protected]  The deadline for questions is March 10, 2023, ten (10) days prior to the application due date. In addition, applicants can provide a contact person or representative to DHA in the of addendums correspond-case of addendums or necessary correspondence during the RFP process. DHA will only respond to written questions and only be bound by its response to written questions.  Oral communications are discouraged, and oral answers or interpretations of the Request for Proposals (RFP) with DHA will not be binding. DHA will provide solutions only in response to written questions received within the specified time frame to maintain a fair and impartial competitive process. The written questions will be the only opportunity for proposers to ask questions about form and content.  DHA encourages women, veteran-owned, and minority business firms/individuals to submit bids. Applications received after 3:00 p.m. CST on Monday, March 20, 2023, will not be accepted or considered.
