Dothan Housing Receives Community Support in the Form of Donations for Selma, AL Outreach Efforts
Dothan, Ala.— Dothan Housing’s (DH) efforts in collecting donations and supplies to assist in restoration efforts for Selma, Al, and the Selma Housing Authority (SHA) proved fruitful! Agency staff and citizens of the Wiregrass came together to donate cleaning supplies, toiletries, clothing, and monetary tokens of love to the recovering area. Dr. Michael C. Threatt, Chief Operating Officer of DH, special delivered the items to SHA Executive Director Kennard Randolph.
Tornadic activity devastated the historic area and other communities on January 12, 2023. As community leaders commit to rebuilding, the local housing authority is instrumental. The items collected by Dothan Housing will assist families and clean-up crews rebuild the community.
