DH Rocks the Vote: Community Forum

OCI hosts a Community Forum for Houston Co. Commissioner Candidates

April 4, 2022— Dothan Housing’s affiliate non-profit organization, Our Community Inc., will host the DH Rock The Vote Community Forum for Houston County Commissioner Candidates. This forum is open to the public and will consist of a moderated debate and Q&A session. Refreshments will be present along with voter registration information, absentee ballot information, photo booth, etc. 

With the primary taking place on May 24, 2022, the organization hopes this event will encourage the public to exercise their constitutional right to vote and provide a platform for candidates to meet constituents. Although the forum is reserved for Houston Co. Commissioner candidates only, those candidates running for various other offices are welcome to attend and meet with citizens. 

This event will take place at Our Community Housing and Enrichment Center (OCHEC), the Old Montana Street School, at 1001 Montana Street Dothan, AL 36303, at 6:00 pm within the auditorium.
