Paper application packets will be available at the office of the DHA, 602 S. Lena St., Dothan, Alabama, 36302, beginning Thursday, March 31, 2022. DHA offices are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST. Electronic application packets will also be available on DHA’s website at https://49n.061.myftpupload.com/ beginning Thursday, March 31, 2022. Please visit https://49n.061.myftpupload.com/about-us/procurement/ to access the RFP documents and additional information pertaining to the project. 

Any and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing. Proposers can direct questions to Gene Summerville, Business Inclusion Coordinator, The Dothan Housing Authority, 602 S. Lena St., Dothan, Alabama, 36302, or by email at [email protected]. The deadline for questions is April 19, 2022, ten (10) days prior to the application due date. 

Any addendum (s) will be available on DHA’s website at https://49n.061.myftpupload.com/about-us/procurement/. In addition, applicants can provide a contact person or representative to DHA in the case of addendums or necessary correspondence during the RFP process. DHA will only respond to written questions and only be bound by its response to written questions.

Oral communications are discouraged, and oral answers or interpretations of the Request for Proposals (RFP) with DHA will not be binding. DHA will provide solutions only in response to written questions received within the specified time frame to maintain a fair and impartial competitive process. The written questions will be the only opportunity for proposers to ask questions about form and content.

DHA encourages women, veteran-owned, and minority business firms/individuals to submit bids. Applications received after 4:00 p.m. CST on Friday, April 29, 2022, will not be accepted or considered.
