Dothan Housing’s COO Graduates from Rutgers’ Education Program
Dr. Michael C. Threatt Completed the Executive Director Education Program
Dothan, Ala. — Dr. Michael C. Threatt, COO of Dothan Housing Authority (DHA) and author of the Price of Bureaucracy: Removing Section 8 Painpoints Through the Investment in Technology, recently graduated from the Executive Director Education Program (EDEP) of Rutgers University in San Diego, CA. The EDEP program presented by the Public Housing Authority Directors Association (PHADA) is a rigorous, 18-month professional development program designed to develop executive directors for housing authorities across the nation who are skilled, knowledgeable, and have superior management skills.
Dr. Threatt’s dedication to affordable housing, housing policy, grassroots agency growth, and passion for developing landlord/developer partnerships led him to pursue the EDEP program. He completed the program with peers from across the nation and is now poised to make a significant impact on affordable housing in the Wiregrass Metropolitan Area and the Southeast Region.
“This has been a memorable experience. I’m honored to have represented the DHA and the Wiregrass Metropolitan Area for the past 18 months, and I look forward to continuing our progress,” said Dr. Threatt.
