Dothan Housing Moves to Implement New Business Hours

Housing Authority's New Hours Effective December 1, 2023

Dothan Ala.— Dothan Housing (DH) will implement new operating hours before the Christmas Holiday to prepare for the upcoming year. The new business hours will be put in place to serve better and accommodate DH families and increase productivity. 

“We hope that by using a modern approach to the work schedule, we will not only accommodate additional families with strained schedules but promote efficiency in the workplace,” says COO Dr. Michael C. Threatt. 

Residents and clients can look forward to all the agency’s offices opening at 7:00 AM and remaining open through lunch. The housing authority is also eliminating the administrative work period on Wednesday to accommodate more families and will close offices on Friday.

The new hours, Monday-Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, will go into effect Friday, December 1, 2023. For more information regarding the operational changes, please get in touch with Communications Coordinator Leah Gunn at 334-589-3357 or email her at lgunn@dothanhousing.org.
